Our BimmerWorld E36 Splitter Standoff Kit is the premium, race-quality method for securely attaching your BimmerWorld E36 Carbon Splitter/Undertray.
In a race or trackday environment, a lower splitter is great for downforce, but it can get damaged during off-track excursions. If your splitter is attached to your bumper cover, it will take your bumper and your paint job with it. These standoffs allow the splitter to come off alone, resulting in much less damage to your car and avoiding most of the costly repair.
Our race-spec E36 carbon splitter lowers the front of your car about 1.5", making it a good compromise between functionality and form. This height typically withstands off-track excursions without major damage, and due to our standoff mounting, a damaged undertray will not typically take your entire bumper with it, confining most repairs to the undertray itself.
This kit mounts the front of your splitter to the structural bumper support of your car.
