This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 51117894378 (51-11-7-894-378) and is described as Genuine BMW Front Bumper Trim Cover, Primered / Unpainted, Front M Sport version, for the 1997-2003 BMW 5 Series (E39). This is the same front bumper cover used on the M5 and "M Sport" E39 models.
If you are replacing a factory M Sport / M5 bumper, this trim panel is the Genuine and authentic BMW front bumper. It can also be used to retrofit the M Sport / M5 front bumper to a non-M model 5 series (though additional trim and components will be necessary.)
This bumper cover is only for cars WITHOUT front PDC but WITH the Headlight Cleaning System (Wipe/Wash/Intensive Cleaning, option codes S500A or S502A).
NOT for cars with front PDC (park distance control)
ONLY for cars with headlight washers (HLC).
Truck Shipping required. Due to the large proportions of this bumper, it must be shipped by common carrier / trucking company. The box required is too large for UPS/FedEx/Post Office. Our shipping calculator will calculate using the largest dimensions possible, but we will contact you about final shipping costs after the order. Freight is typically $280-320 for this kit, though there is some discount if you are ordering other replica body panels (such as the rear bumper) at the same time.
