E90 Sedan (4 Door) Carbon Fiber Sunroof Fill Panel

Replace the heavy stock sunroof assembly and glass panel on your 2006-2011 E90 3 Series sedan or 2008-2013 M3 sedan (4 door models) with this lightweight carbon fiber blank. Made of high quality carbon fiber, this sunroof panel allows you to delete your sunroof for use on the track, drag strip, or other various forms of BMW racing. Not only are you reducing the weight of your E90, but you're also removing weight where it counts -- the top! This lowers the center of gravity of the car, giving you better acceleration and handling.

Be sure to confirm the rules and legality with your race series or class - metal panels are sometimes required. This E90 sunroof delete panel requires no additional finishing and looks great out of the box as a carbon fiber piece. To install this panel, the factory sunroof gasket must be removed. We recommend using RTV / silicone type sealant when installing this panel.

Panels weigh approximately 3.0 pounds.

This carbon fiber sunroof delete panel fits all E90 3 Series 4-door sedans including E90 M3, E90 335i/335xi, E90 328i/328xi, E90 325i/325xi, and 330i/330xi, Not for 2-door coupes. (See related items for sedan models.)

Carbon may be unfinished or sometimes with a minimal clearcoat (for UV protection). You will not find high gloss finishes here for style points. If your priorities are a show car shine there is no shortage of cheaper carbon-wrapped fiberglass or plastic pieces on the market. These are usually loaded with fiberglass, filler, resin, and many clearcoat layers that make them too heavy or not rigid enough for real world competition use. If you wish to apply a finish we suggest vinyl wrap or a light filler skim coat and then paint. In any case, professional prep and installation are strongly advised.
