VANOS Oil Pressure Valve, Genuine BMW - E46 M3, MZ3, Z4M (11367838080)

The oil pressure valve is responsible with supplying oil pressure to the S54 VANOS system. This valve works at extremely high pressures (100psi) so the VANOS can operate with the high performance demands of the S54 engine. A dead or non-responsive VANOS unit could be the result of a malfunctioning oil pressure valve. This also has a filter and two oil seals that should be checked and cleaned to maintain pressure.
