This rebuilt VANOS unit is for E36 323i/325i/328i, E36 M3, E34 525i, E39 528i, Z3 2.8, and MZ3 - all the cars that came with the M50, M52, S50, S52 single-vanos engines.

The Dr. Vanos Single-Vanos Unit is the original ultimate solution for a noisy or under-performing Vanos adjuster unit. BMW Vanos units see wear and age and will no longer deliver low and mid-RPM torque. If you're experiencing a lack of acceleration, or have the dreaded marbles in a can sound, it's likely time for a Vanos rebuild.

This is a fully rebuilt VANOS unit from the original master - Dr. VANOS. They use high-performance seals and o-rings, as well as advanced assembly techniques  to restore proper Vanos function and eliminate the dreaded VANOS rattle.

A new steel mounting gasket is included.
