All engines produce tiny metal particles as part of normal wear and use. These particles contaminate your engine oil, and if the pieces are larger, they can be recycled back through the engine by the oil pump, causing potential damage and reducing engine life. This magnetic plug will collect the ferrous particles to give you an extra safety margin and extend the life of your engine.
The Magnetic Oil Drain Plug fits aluminum and steel BMW oil pans for the models listed below. Copper seal washer sold separately, see below.
