Engine Mount - Left - E90/E92/E93 3 Series, E82/E88 1 Series - 22116760330

This is a replacement engine mount, sold individually. If you are looking to replace your old, worn or failed engine mounts, be sure to buy two of these to do the job correctly. 

Fitment Note: Non-Turbo Models use this motor mount part # for left and right side equally.  Cars with the N54 or N55 Turbo Engine use a different mount for the Right side, which has a silicone heat shield attached - Part # 22116773744

This particular engine mount is for the E90/E91/E92/E93 3 series, E82 1 Series, and E89 Z4 roadster/coupe. It's used on all of these models that have the N52, N54 and N55 engines, which are 3.0 liter straight six models. (See list of models below for list of models.)

Why should I replace my engine mount / motor mounts? The stock mounts on these cars are fluid filled giving them a hydraulic like absorbency. The issue is when the fluid leaks (or evaporates) from the engine mount, leaving the mount far too flexible and "mushy" for the high output of the BMW 3.0 liter engines -- particularly the N54 and N55 models with turbo power. Once the engine mount fails, it causes engine shaking, vibration, as well as unwanted driveline twisting. This twisting action will harm the rest of the drivetrain bushings (like transmission and differential mounts) as well as the metal motor mount arms that hold these in place.

Do yourself a favor and nip this problem in the bud! By replacing your old bushings with this Genuine BMW bushing, you can avoid these side effects and keep your BMW's engine properly mounted.
