Throttle Valve Actuator, Genuine BMW - E46 M3, MZ3, Z4M

All six throttle bodies on the S54 are driven by this electric motor. If your engine is feeling sluggish, low on torque, or you have a fault code for throttle actuation the culprit could be this motor or one of the two throttle position sensors. The throttle travel and operation can be tested with an advanced diagnostic tool. If the actuator is found to be faulty, this is a Genuine BMW replacement.
