This Lifeline Group N Quick Release steering wheel hub gives you easy and solid engagement. Lifeline uses a splined connection but with tighter tolerances than found on cheaper QR hubs. There is a keyway so the splined shaft can only go on one way and prevent being mis-aligned. As anyone with years of racing experience can tell you, a Quick Release can be a great annoyance and potential safety liability which is why we only seek the very best QR hubs. Watch out for cheaper alternatives that are infuriating to align or with a weak attachment system that can leave the wheel loose or spinning on the hub.
