Front Right Strut Mount, BMW - E36 M3 96-99, MZ3

Front struts/shocks on the 1996-1999 E36 M3 and MZ3 are mounted to the chassis with this front upper strut mount. It's a dense rubber mount that also incorporates a bearing that allows the strut to rotate as the steering changes. Over time the rubber breaks down and the bearing wears out and the entire mount should be replaced. 

This Front Right Strut Mount for your E36 M3 is a replacement mount for 1996, 1997, 1998 and 1999 model M3s, but it can be mounted on the Left side of the greatly increased negative camber without effect on ride quality. These can also be used on 1995 M3s for slightly more negative camber, but will sacrifice a small amount of caster. On non-M E36 it will add camber and caster.
