The Rogue Engineering E30/E36/Z3 Performance FCAB is a unique and incredibly effective front control arm bushing design, combining CNC'd 6061-T6 aluminum and high-performance polyurethane. These are an innovative and effective compromise between street and track - street focused but with capability for serious track use. Rogue wanted to push the limits with something that was not only effective, but simple in design - high-performance without any of the negative aspects of track-only parts. Needless to say, RE was extremely successful in reaching their goals...

Factory bushings work fine when new, but still leave a bit to be desired in the steering feedback department. Plus, the soft rubber degrades quickly leaving you with some of the common side effects of worn factory FCABs, such as steering wheel shutter when braking, steering wheel shimmy, odd and irregular tire wear, light steering/poor feedback.

Rogue FCAB are available with two alignment settings:

Centered: the original orientation for non-M, 1996-1999 E36 M3, and all Z3 models.
Offset: some E30 M3 and 1995 E36 M3. These can be used on any other model and they will increase caster and negative camber.

One bushing spec is offered on these models:

Street Performance for slightly more sport and precision in daily driving environments. Urethane material for less deflection, more precise handling, and better steering response but while retaining some comfort for street use. No track or very little autocross. If you attempt to use these in competitive driving you will quickly be outclassed by others with true race equipment.

Features:
  • Serviceable/rebuildable (easy replacement of bushing insert)
  • Urethane insert prevents unwanted control arm deflection while allowing NVH isolation
  • Eliminates steering shimmy and wander, especially with the addition of big brake upgrades
  • Centered of Offset bushing orientation
  • More direct feeling with front end of vehicle - increased steering feedback
  • Easy to install (professional installation recommended)

The RE Performance FCABs reuse the factory eyeball arms, or "lollipops," as the aluminum sleeve of the FCAB is pressed into place. Hydraulic press is required for removal of stock bushing and installation of RE FCABs. Professional installation is recommended.
