Conforti's new USB Shark Injector performance software is finally here for your M5! Jim Conforti Performance Engine Software represents the most cost-effective approach to increasing engine performance. It has been dyno-tested to provide a safe increase in power by altering fuel enrichment, cam timing and ignition timing specifically for use with premium gasoline. The OBD II Performance Engine Software also provides an increase in the factory rev-limit allowing for optimum shift points for maximum acceleration. Not only do we re-map part-throttle fuel and spark, Conforti also re-map other areas of chips other tuners don't touch - such as acceleration enrichment, transition fueling (how the car responds to rapid change in pedal), and VANOS control as needed to optimize the vehicle for operation on premium fuel.

New Features:

• Improved Updating- Instead of sending the Injector back to us for updates, the USB Shark Injector can now be updated from you home PC with a standard USB cable- No more need to mail Injector back for updates!
• Add Upgraded Files- Since the Shark Injector will be updateable from you home PC, the customer can re-program the Injector with an upgraded file remotely. For example, If you upgrade to a performance header/exhaust or performance camshafts you can download a tune specific to that application directly to you Shark Injector.*

This do-it-yourself engine software programming tool changes programming in about 5 minutes and is completely reversible, meaning your dealership with the best of intentions won't accidentally remove your performance software when uploading a dealer update! Cars produced from 1996 onwards (OBDII cars) require flash reprogramming via the Shark Injector™ instead of a conventional chip. For US models only!

• Unlock GOBS of torque and horsepower in gears 1, 2, and 3 as well as great gains in gears 4, 5, and 6.
• Choose between 91 and 93 octane
• Throttle response improved in both Sport and non-Sport modes
• Rev limit increased to 7400 (7000 stock)
• Top speed limiter removed

Choice of several options to make driving your M5 more enjoyable:

• Standard Performance Software. The car's Sport and DSC functions remain the same as stock but all of the other Shark Injector benefits (more horsepower and torque, smoother engine, quicker throttle response) are added.
• Sport Mode Memory - Even when you turn the ignition off you can keep the Sport mode activated. This is extremely useful if spend all of your time in Sport mode. Now you won't have to repeatedly push the button every time you turn the car on!
• DSC button controls Sport mode - With this feature you can control how the DSC and Sport mode interact. By pressing the DSC button and turning the system off you will automatically engage Sport mode. And by turning DSC back on, the Sport mode will disengage. This effectively de-activates the Sport button on the console. You'll only have to push one button instead of two!
• Race Headers and Sport Cats - If you have incorporated high flow headers and catalysts this is the software featuring the most dialed in tune. It does not feature Sport Mode Memory or DSC activated Sport mode.
