This OEM auxiliary water pump for N63/S63 engines fits F10 550i/M5, F06/F12/F13 650i/M6, F01/F02 750i, E70/F15 X5 50i, and E71/F16 X6 50i. 

This is an electric coolant pump that circulates coolant through the turbochargers. It's electric so that it can run even when the engine is off and continue cooling the turbos.
