A fresh and new style, for our 3-pedal brothers and sisters! Our original aluminum manual pedal sets are a best seller, with thousands sold and installed. While those are designed with superior shoe grip first, we thought it time for a new design in the line up.
Pedals That Look Great & Feel Great
Our new “Hex Design” pedals play off some of the subtle (and not so subtle) hexagon design elements you may notice on both the exterior and interior of your BMW. Whether it's the front face of the center radio / entertainment controls, the shape of the HVAC air vents, or the plastic mesh grid on your M Sport option front bumper, the hexagon (and partial hexagon) motif is in so many places on the F and G chassis BMWs. Looks are always subjective, but we were going for bold and modern.
A must-have (for us) are pedals that don't just look great, but FEEL great. Some pedals look good, but actually either don't improve the foot feel, or make them feel worse. Rubber pads are often used to add grip, but can wear down with time and might still be slippery when wet. Our machined Hex grid surface design makes for a firm, grippy surface, that's heel and toe friendly, while still looking worthy of a BimmerWorld Project Car.
Designed for G8X – But Compatible with Many BMWs
We created this design specifically for the G8X M2, M3, and M4 models, which are some of the rear models still available in manual transmission. BUT, this pedal shape will also fit cars back to E30, including E36, E46, E9X, F3X, F8X and more.
Precision Machined from Solid Aluminum Billet
Our Hex pedals are machined right here in the USA using ultra-precise high-speed CNC machining. Starting from solid blocks of aircraft grade aluminum, every edge is tailored to grip the bottoms of your shoes where we want them (clutch and brake), but reduce edge friction where you don't need the grip (throttle/accelerator). This gives a visual consistency across all three pedals, but optimizes grip between them. On the clutch and brake, each internal hexagon has a sharp 90 degree edge and creates a grip edge to reduce slip. On the accelerator, the edge has a slight chamfer to reduce that grip edge just enough to allow your right foot to slide as needed. It takes precise manufacturing to achieve this, and no figurative corners are cut to achieve the end results.
New, Two-Tone Machined Finish
With the popularity of our original BimmerWorld Racing pedals in the black coated finish, we wanted to go one step further. This new two-tone black and silver is achieved by anodizing the entire pedal (all surface, front and back) and then machining the edge face off. The end result is a spectacular look, but it also helps reduce any visible wear on the black coating. The surface your shoe soles grip and slide don't have black coating, making it very difficult to scratch or mar the finish in a noticeable way.
Simple, Straight-Forward Install
Like most pedal sets, our Billet Hex pedals should be drilled and bolted in place for a safe, secure install. On the accelerator pedal, because it's a large block of plastic, we use correctly sized self-tapping screws to affix our aluminum cover to the plastic pedal. Install takes a basic electric drill, some prep and patience, and can generally be installed in under 30 mins, even for a novice. All required hardware in included, with basic instructions to guide you. If you're worried about install, we recommend professional assistance, and any experience DIY or independent mechanic will be able to install these in very little time at all.
For LHD models only. Not for RHD models, which have different pedal shapes.
