The BimmerWorld View: We put this set together to run a wide rear wheel with a stock-ish front wheel. This is an exaggerated staggered set. Both front and rear wheels should fit with no rubbing or interference. With the S55's torque more grip is often wanted in the rear so you can run a 295-305 tire.
F: 19x9.5" ET22. Only slightly wider than stock but more aggressive offset. We don't expect any rubbing with this unless a super-wide tire is used.
R: 19x10.5" ET37. Slightly wider than stock with a slightly more aggressive offset. Easy fitment with no rubbing likely.
Our TA (Technical Alloy) alloy wheel is constructed as a true forged piece, not "semi-forged" or "flow-forged". A fully forged wheel is stronger and lighter than cast wheels (a semi-forged wheel is still cast). The BimmerWorld racing team has been using forged wheels in multiple types of racing and we're convinced that forged wheels have greater all-around benefits than cast wheels. Because these are our own proprietary wheel, we're able to offer them at roughly half the cost of other forged race wheels in the BMW market!
Black Tinted Machine is a clear coat that shows off the machine marks on the wheel spokes and rim. The clear coat has a darker tint that is not black and not grey. The color is dynamic and changes tint under different lighting conditions - from a dark grey to light grey with subtle gold visible sometimes. But it's clear enough to show off the machining.
The 16 spokes and barrel design leave generous room for big brakes - up to 380mm. BimmerWorld wheels utilize the most advanced wheel design and manufacturing techniques available in the world to make the strongest, lightest wheel possible. Through careful design using CAD and FEA we were able to trim material to make a lighter wheel without sacrificing strength. We also incorporated several unique features normally found on high-end race wheels - knurled bead seat to minimize the wheel spinning inside the tire and a reverse-mount feature that makes it easier for race tires to be mounted from the backside of the wheel.Key Features:

BimmerWorld TA16 wheels are tested according to DOT/SAE and JWL/VIA standards (certification only required when selling wheels in Japan). Torture tested and proven at all levels of competitive racing, including years of wheel-to-wheel (literally) IMSA pro racing.
Note: these are sold as a slightly more aggressive fitment and rubbing with bodywork might occur depending on tire choice and suspension settings. We cannot verify fitment with every combination of wheel-tire-suspension. Verification of wheel fitment is the responsibility of the customer.
