Our Engine Fan Delete Kit for your 6-cylinder E36 (91-8/95 production, including 1992, 1993, 1994, and 1995 model years) is a simple yet complete and extremely effective kit that allows you to remove your power-robbing engine cooling fan.
Proper engine cooling is maintained by lowering your engine operating temperature with a cooler 80°C thermostat and turning on your electric auxiliary fan at a lower temperature. This allows you to keep the engine at its safe and optimal operating temperature without using engine power to spin a second fan.
Kit includes:
- 80°C OEM thermostat
- Alternate auxiliary fan switch
- Thermostat seal ring
- One (1) bottle of Red Line Water Wetter
Note: some models may require a very slight modification to the sensor plug. This is a quick snip with pliers or razor blade to remove a tab.
