BMWs that use drive-by-wire throttle control (all BMWs since 2001) are notorious for throttle delays - there is a dead zone when pressing the pedal before the engine responds. The Speed-Buster Pedal Tuner plugs into your gas pedal and modifies the signal going to the throttle body on the engine. The new signal makes the throttle open sooner, removing the hesitation and improving response. There are six throttle settings, including four that are customizable: Economy, Sport, Individual, Kids, Protection, and Valet.
The app is free on Android and Apple app stores. Installation of the pedal module takes only a few minutes and is unnoticeable. No special tools are required and the gas pedal does not need to be removed or modified. The install is completely reversible with no trace left behind.
