It All Started in 1997....

Bitten by the track bug shortly after the purchase of a used E30 M3, BimmerWorld was founded in 1997 by James Clay as a way to fund his new-found obsession for building fast BMWs. We come from humble roots selling used parts stripped from racecar donors and a small assortment of racing brake parts from a small unheated metal building. But from our inception, we have built our business on deep-rooted passion for making BMW cars the ultimate performance machines.  

Now, almost 30 years later, BimmerWorld is proudly recognized as North America's largest independently owned BMW tuner. With over 50 employees and 150,000 square feet of office and warehouse facilities in our newly renovated Pulaski, Virginia location which houses over 10,000 parts, we now ship thousands of packages to BMW owners, enthusiasts, and racers in all corners of the world. Our performance and development arm continues to provide proven solutions from both in-house design and manufacturing as well as partnerships with premier aftermarket suppliers.   

BimmerWorld's rich history of BMW Parts and Racing are certainly worth celebration, but perhaps more worthy are the people that helped sculpt this history. For this reason, on Saturday June 27 we are inviting all customers, employees past and present, current and past drivers, vendors, race partners, friends, family and all BMW owners and enthusiasts to join us for an EPIC Grand Opening event.

Get ready for a full day of cars, food, activities, and BMW fun. We’re filling the BimmerMart lot with race cars, wild builds, partner displays, and hundreds of fellow enthusiasts. Bring your BMW, bring your friends, and come hang out.
