Sway Bar bushings wear out and negatively affect the performance of the sway bar. This often leads to poor steering and handling as well as clunks and other noises from the front suspension. BMW used vulcanized rubber bonded to the metal bar on the F10 5-series and F12/F13 6-series. Unlike previous sway bar bushings, they cannot be easily replaced on their own and will likely damage the bar if you tried! A whole new bar is required.
This kit from Meyle includes the new bar, new OEM-spec bushings (also vulcanized), and outer sway bar end links. The links use the Meyle HD ball joint design with a larger and more durable internal ball joint. This improves performance but also service life.
