Assembly Technician
Department: Shipping and Receiving
Reports To: Operations Manager
Overall Responsibility:
Assembly of BimmerWorld products; management of workspace and assembly parts
Physical Requirements:
Sitting, standing, bending, lifting
Classification:
Non-Exempt
Key Job Duties:
● Parts assembly
● Organizing and labeling assembly parts and storage bins
● Reporting missing parts, inventory errors, or any brake machine problems
● Quality control and managing work area (no one else is allowed to remove parts from this
area without your consent)
● Updating task sheet as necessary
● Manage/organize partial assemblies as required
● Batch processing as possible
● Development of systems and tools to assure proper assembly
● Maintains regular and prompt attendance
Educational Requirements:
● High school diploma or equivalent
Required Skills and Experience:
● Ability to lift heavy objects or packages
● Strive for 100% accuracy
