Accelerator Pedal, BMW - E36, Z3

This is the plastic throttle / accelerator pedal assembly, as used on the 1992-1999 generation BMW 3 series (E36) as well as the first generation BMW Z3. It's a Genuine BMW part, so you can be assured of a perfect fit, finish, and highest quality available. This pedal is often referred to as a "gas pedal", though in truth it really only operates the throttle cable and let's more air into the intake. It attaches to the throttle / bowden cable and allows your foot to control the throttle and acceleration of your E36 or Z3 model BMW. 

This accelerator pedal is made of a strong and reinforced plastic, but with age and use they can break and become separated at the floor. This create a dangerous situation where the broken gas pedal flops around on the floor board and prevents you from safely accelerating. Fortunately a replacement gas pedal is not terribly expensive or difficult to replace. 

This is Genuine BMW part number 35411158855 (35 41 1 158 855), which was used on many 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998 and 1999 models, and Z3 models from 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, and 2002. This same gas pedal design was used on all engine variants, including the M42 and M44 4 cylinder, as well as the M50, M52, S50 and S52 6 cylinders. On the Z3 M roadster/coupe, this pedal was used on both S52 and S54 powered models.
