Angel Eye Ring Bulb - E90 2006-2007 with Xenon/HID or 2008-2011 w/ Halogen

This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 63117161444 (63-11-7-161-444) and is described as Angel Eye Ring Bulb for E90 3 Series - 2006-2007 with Xenon/HID, as well as 2008, 2009, 2010 or 2011 with Halogen (non-Xenon / non-HID) head lights. This bulb gives the "halo" ring effect around the high/low beam headlamps, typically known as "Angel Eyes", for their resemblance to eyes on the BMW models that have them. They're also sometimes call demon eyes, but BMW calls this replacement bulb an Angel Eye Ring bulb. Cars that use this angel eye bulb have one on each side which emits light into the ends of the angel eye ring to light it up. When the bulb dies, do does your "angel eye" effect in your headlight. Fortunately a new bulb can fix burned our angel eye rings.  

Please check your fitment carefully. BMW changed the applications this angel eye ring bulb was used on for the E90 3 series. The first two years (2006 and 2007) it was only used on the optional HID / Xenon headlights, while in from 2008 to 2011 it was only used on the base/standard headlight system (Halogen). 

If you are unsure, please ask for assistance, or check your existing bulb configuration to ensure your existing angel eye illumination uses this style bulb.
