This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 64529399060 (64 52 9 399 060) and is described as BMW Heater & A/C Air Conditioning Compressor, as used on my F3X BMW 3 series with the N55 engine (F30/F34 335i, 335xi and 335i GT, F32/F33 435i, 435xi, and 435i GC / Gran Coupe), as well as other F chassis "35i" powered BMWs including E70/F15 X5 xDrive 35i & E71/F16 X6 xDrive35i, F07 535i GT, F01/F02 740i & 740Li (with and without xDrive), F10 535i & 535i xDrive, F13 640i, and others. 

Only for cars with N55 3.0 liter 6 cylinder engine. 

This AC compressor is made by Denso, the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for BMW. This part is far less expensive than the Genuine BMW / dealer part, but offers the same high quality fit and performance as you expect and demand for your BMW. While we're happy to order the original BMW compressor, this OEM unit is what we would use in our own BimmerWorld BMWs. 

This N55 AC compressor includes the clutch, which is a common wear and failure item on the A/C compressor.
