The BimmerWorld View - the base price for G8X MCS coil overs is $3,110 but that's just the basic damper set. The real value to a kit like this is with our expertise - over 25 years of BMW racing and tuning, including competing on a professional level with the F82 and G82 M4 GT4. Listing the front and rear dampers on their own is like only ordering the burger with nothing else. In reality, the MCS dampers form the core of a truly exceptional coil over package that exceeds what you already know about street or track coil overs. Sure, you can just buy dampers for 3k but you're missing out on the fixings and the special sauce.
G80/G82/G87 Staged Coil Over Kits:
Basic: bare MCS single adjustable dampers with spring seats. You build the kit yourself with springs, strut adapter sleeves, hardware, camber plates, and mounts. Expect to spend at least another $1800 to make it work.
Street Performance: MCS single adjustable dampers, springs, strut adapter sleeves, hardware, camber plates, and mounts. Springs are focused on street use.
Track Performance: MCS single adjustable dampers, springs, strut adapter sleeves, hardware, camber plates, and mounts. Springs are focused on track use.

A word of caution for cross-shoppers out there: kits from one seller to another cannot easily be compared. There's a lot more to a package than just the price. If price is your main buying factor there are plenty of "affordable" "premium" kits out there with less on the plate. We do it once and we do it right.
The core of our kit is the MCS dampers - 1-way (rebound), non-remote, adjustable shocks with coil over rear mounts. MCS 1WNR shocks are the pinnacle of ultra-premium suspension dampers. MCS has not only managed to develop a damper kit that is more track-capable than the majority of aftermarket kits, but they've done so while creating a package that is more comfortable than even the stock suspension. These ultra-premium dampers have a feel, ride quality, and grip capability that lesser dampers simply can't match - you absolutely get what you pay for. Unlike other "premium" coil overs these dampers are serviced and rebuilt in the USA with fast turn-around.
Factory EDC: these coil over shocks replace the factory EDC shocks. However, the EDC system must either be disabled via programming (coding) or with a separate EDC-delete module.
Front adjustable sway bar links are strongly recommended. This will restore the bar to its original factory position for optimal clearance and performance. See Related Items below.
