Self-Locking Hex Nut, M12x1.5 for Flex Disc, Trailing Arm Bushings

This M12x1.5 self-locking hex nut is used throughout BMW applications where a slim-profile, self-locking nut is needed, especially in vibration-prone areas, such as the guibo, driveshaft, and axle shafts, and where heat may affect a traditional nylon Nyloc nut. The threads in this all-metal locking nut deform when tightened so they should not be re-used multiple times. The most common uses for this nut are on the guibo / flex disc and driveshaft.
