This coarse-threaded insert sits inside the grommet on the front nose panel of 1988-92 E30 325i models with the factory oil cooler. When the top screw is tightened down the grommet sandwiches the oil cooler tabs and lock it in place. Sold per insert, hardware sold separately, each car takes 2.
