Fluid note: rebuilt racks are designed with seals compatible with Pentosin
CHF11S or EHF. ATF or similar "Power Steering Fluid" should not be used. Mixing CHF and ATF is not recommended and may lead to premature failure of the seals, pump, or rack and void the warranty. A complete flush of the entire steering system is recommended. We strongly urge you to add the CHF label to the cap on your reservoir (BMW part #71212122171).
Core Charge: the price shown includes a $200 core charge. A core charge applies to this purchase. The supply of original parts for rebuilding keeps the final purchase price low. The core must match the part that was supplied in terms of fitment, type, application, accessories, and hardware. Damaged or modified cores will not receive a refund. A core charge can only be refunded once the core has been inspected and approved.

AAE is a US-based remanufacturer of European steering systems. Their 125,000 sq-ft facility in North Carolina houses state-of-the-art manufacturing and R&D equipment as well as a skilled workforce. All reconditioned parts go through a thorough 8-step process that goes beyond just replacing worn or failed components. All bearings and gears are properly adjusted and lubricated and only new seal and o-ring packs are installed. The pinion clocking position is measured and set to OE specifications for a properly centered rack. AAE improves on every component to ensure the finished product exceeds OEM standards. AAE remanufactured parts have a two year warranty.
