It should be a crime to drill holes in the middle of the front bumper cover on a BMW. But that's just what BMW does to mount the front license plate. It's unthinkable, especially on the aggressive styling of the M Sport equipped 2016-2016 F30 3-series Sedan or 2016-2018 F31 3-series touring wagon. Most BMW owners agree that a BMW looks much better without an ugly font license plate. Unfortunately many states strictly enforce front plate laws, so completely deleting the front plate isn't an option for everyone.
For 2016-2018 3 Series Sedan/Wagon Models WITH M-Sport front bumper and no PDC. This kit is made very specifically for the optional M Sport front bumper WITHOUT the Front Park Distance Control (PDC) for just the 2016, 2017, and 2018 model years. These later years are known as faceflift or "LCI", and if you have the M Sport package (but no front PDC), this is the kit you will want. The M Sport front bumper came on M Sport Package models, including 330i Sedan, 330i xDrive Sedan, 340i Sedan, 340i xDrive Sedan, and 330e ActiveHybrid3. It also includes the 2016-2018 330i xDrive Touring Wagon and 328d xDrive Touring Wagon (with M Sport). Not for cars before the 2016 model year. Not for cars with PDC.
