This black colored Polyurethane Elastic adhesive is a great option for gluing add-on body accessories and spoilers without the use of rivets, screws, or other metal fasteners to achieve a TIGHT fitment.

This adhesive works much like the BMW-offered Betalink K1 spoiler adhesive (that's no longer easy or affordable to source) and you get a much larger tube, so it's possible to do several install jobs with this one 300ml tube. Bonds to all clean and dry surfaces. Compare to BMW part # 83195A326D0 (83 19 5 A32 6D0).

The BimmerWorld View: This strong adhesive has a lot in common with the BMW Betalink K1 the dealers used to use. It's a 1-part glue (no mixing or combining like a 2-part epoxy) and once it cures, your spoiler or wing IS ON THERE - very solidly! Our tips to using this are 1.) Have a perfectly clean surface 2.) Use enough but not too much to prevent getting it on non-mating surfaces and 3.) Use clamps or other means to apply constant pressure while it's curing.

SIKAFLEX 252 is a single part glue that tacks in 40 minutes, and when used in thin (2mm or less) applications, fully cures in less than a day. If you are using it in a thicker application, or in lower temperatures, additional curing time may be required. The end result is a spoiler that's NOT going anywhere! It's high strength, high thixotropic (stable), fast curing, non-staining, sandable, and even paintable. It is resistant to shock, weather, water, caustic solutions, and dilute acids. It has all sorts of uses, but makes a superb spoiler adhesive for BMWs or any make or model car.

Applications:
This adhesive equires a standard caulking gun (not included). Something you likely already have in the garage.

Proper cleaning and preparation steps should be taken. This includes decontaminating the mating surfaces with a solvent (such as Isopropyl Alcohol, Kerosene, Naptha, Xylene, etc). Make sure both surfaces are completely clean before apply SIKAFLEX and applying bonding pressure. Always read the manufacturers safety and care instructions.
