This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 51112695245 (51-11-2695-245) and is described as Genuine BMW Front Bumper Trim Cover, Primered, Front, standard US style (with front reflector holes). Fits the 2001 and very early 2002 model BMW E46 M3 only. Not for cars after 11/2001. 

Please note - This bumper is ONLY for the 2001 E46 M3, and early 2002 production (thru 11/2001 production) with aluminum bumper support. The first year E46 M3 (2001) used an aluminum internal bumper impact carrier, as well as the first two months production of the 2002 models. This bumper is designed for these early cars with the aluminum bumper support. 

If you are installing this bumper cover on a non-M3 model, please note some modification may be necessary to adapt this for your non-M3 model.
