Please note - This bumper is NOT a direct install on the 2001 and very early 2002 model E46 M3 without modification. The first year E46 M3 (2001) used an aluminum internal bumper impact carrier, which carried into the first two months of the 2002 model year. This bumper is made for the 11/2001 production cars which used the later carbon fiber style bumper carrier. The Euro style bumper cover specific to the 2001 model year M3 is not available in the US. 

If you are installing this bumper cover on a non-M3 model, please note some modification may be necessary to adapt this for your non-M3 model.
