Grille Chrome, Right - E38 750iL LCI Style - 51138231596

This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 51138231596 (51 13 8 231 596) and is described as Grille Right Chrome, which is the front right kidney grill (passenger side on US / left hand drive cars) for the 1999, 2000 and 2001 model 750iL, which is the V12 model in the E38 chassis. 

Originally intended for E38 750iL 1999-2001. 
This grille was not intended for cars before the 1999 model year, but for the later V12 model. These later models had a facelift, as known as the “life cycle impulse” or LCI for short, which gave them a more rounded shape and prominent slats. The 750iL also came with chrome on the grille slats, where the non-V12 models had black slats. 

This grille does fit the earlier model E38 7 series, but to ensure they match left to right, be sure to order both sides and achieve the full retrofit effect.
