Front Center Bumper Grille, BMW - F22 M235i/M240i & M Sport 228i/230i

This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 51758417286 (51 75 8 417 286) and is described as a Front Center Grille, which mounts in the middle of the bumper, and is a decorate grid which also serves to prevent objects from striking the radiator, coolers, and engine bay. This center grill mesh unit is specific to the M Sport front bumper, which was standard equipment on the M235i and M240i models, and and part of the optional M Sport aero package on the 228i and 230i models.

On the non-M models (228i and 230i) this was option code S715A, which if your cars build sheet has S715A=Yes then this is likely the center bumper trim you need. 

Not for cars with Active Cruise Control. If your 2 series came equipped with Active Cruise Control, it uses a different front/center bumper grill than this. This center mesh grill is for cars with M Sport and WITHOUT active cruise control (S5DFA=No).
