E46 M3 Carbon Headlight Blank - Left

E46 M3 Carbon Headlight Blanks were designed because shedding weight is the easiest way to make your car faster, and the more weight you can take off from the front of the car, especially ahead of the front axle centerline, the better. 

Our headlight blank is a professional-quality race part, autoclaved for maximum strength and minimum weight. With some headlight/sidemarker versions weighing over 20 pounds per side, getting rid of the dead weight can be very beneficial, and since our carbon replacement parts are an exact duplicate of the stock contour, you'll retain your factory aerodynamics and smooth appearance as well. 

An optional duct is available to connect to our 120mm-version Carbon Intake Plenum (other brands not supported). The extended depth of the plenum section aids in creating consistent and positive plenum pressure for a "ram air" effect. This part nests inside our Carbon Headlight Blank and requires that you cut the headlight blank opening.  Coupler not included, and the duct is sold separately.

Sold per side - replaces left headlight and side marker.  Retains factory headlight attachment points, rubber seals, and lower trim strip.

BimmerWorld race carbon parts are designed solely to improve performance. Surface finish and appearance are not priorities in our racing parts. Carbon may be unfinished or sometimes with a minimal clearcoat (for UV protection). You will not find high gloss finishes here for style points. If your priorities are a show car shine there is no shortage of cheaper carbon-wrapped fiberglass or plastic pieces on the market. These are usually loaded with fiberglass, filler, resin, and many clearcoat layers that make them too heavy or not rigid enough for real world competition use. If you wish to apply a finish we suggest vinyl wrap or a light filler skim coat and then paint. In any case, professional prep and installation are strongly advised.
