Shadowline Black Grille for Night Vision, Left - F90 M5

This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 51138076043 (51 13 8 076 043) and is described as Shadowline Black Left Grille for the F90 M5 with Night Vision. This is the Left/Driver's Side grille.

This grille is for cars that have the factory Night Vision camera system (NIVI). This is a infrared camera mounted on the back of the left side grille. The camera is not included with this grille but the backside of the grille is molded different for the camera attachment. A different grille is available for cars without the NIVI system.

New BMW models continue to be built with chrome accents on the front kidney grilles and side vents. While traditionalists ponder the history and significance of BMW chrome grilles, there are others that want a more subtle, less-obvious, but more serious trim look. This is where BMW Shadowline trim comes in.

Shadowline has usually been reserved for BMW Sport and limited edition models. The new F90 M5 Competition model comes with Shadowline trim as standard. This left-side black grille for the F90 M5 will delete the shiny chrome accents.
