Genuine BMW Oil Drain Access Cover - E46, E85 Z4 - 51617199687

This is the plastic oil drain access panel installed on the front aluminum reinforcement/undertray on E46 and and first generation Z4 models (which is the E85 chassis).

This flap was installed at the factory, but careless or rushed mechanics sometimes forget to put it back on. Other times they just fall off. It offers some protection to the oil pan and drain bolt from debris and dirt. When not present, it leaves an opening for moisture and road debris to go where it's just not intended. 

A fastener screw may be included, but be sure to order the clip separately if it's missing (see below).

Replaces BMW part numbers 51717036493 (51 71 7 036 493) and 41710149398 (41 71 0 149 398).
