Rear Window Regulator Clip - E53 X5 (2000-2006) - 51357011680

The rear window regulators of the first generation BMW X5 are known to be problematic. This first X5 chassis, known as the E53 chassis and offered from 2000 through 2006, was known to haven eventual mechanical breakdown in the rear electric windows. This clip is one of the known weak points which may cause the rear window glass to rattle around over bumps and while driving when the windows are down. Such an annoyance!   

You may simply need new clips to resolve this issue. This heavy duty aftermarket replacement part may save you some pretty substantial money in repairs on your 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 or 2006 model BMW X5. It's specifically designed for all of the first gen BMW X5 models, including the X5 3.0i, 4.4i, 4.6is and 4.8is models as the rear window regulators were the same for all of these years. 

If you're changing out the rear window regulators, you definitely want to have two of these clips as well. This clip holds the glass to the regulator on both the left and right side of the BMW X5 models. Sold individually. Be sure to buy enough for your repair. 

While this clip doesn't solve every rear window regulator issue, it's been known to be a cheap parts fix for many of the rattling rear window issues. 

This rear window regulator clip is manufactured by URO, an aftermarket supplier of European auto parts. While not carrying OEM status, this part follows the design of the original regulator clip very closely, but uses a more durable material. This aftermarket brand has a two year warranty - the same as Genuine BMW and OEM brands.
