M-Technic Rear Lip Spoiler - E39 5 Series (97-03) & E36 4-door (92-98)

This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 51717901594 (51-71-7-901-594) and is described as M-Technic Rear Lip Spoiler, originally used on the E39 5 series and E39 M5.

This subtle trunk lip spoiler is the same that BMW used on the E39 M5 and "M" sport model 5 series. The shape and length also make it a good fit on the E36 3 Series 4-door sedan (1992-1998) as well. Installation is very simple and uses a self-adhesive backing. This spoiler can be painted to match any color. 

Installs easily on all E39 5 Series 4-door sedans (1997-2003) including all 525i, 528i, 530i, 540i and M5 for the model years 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, and 2003. Also fits with no modification for the E36 sedan models. **4 Door Sedan models only. 


This is the Original / Genuine BMW spoiler, not a cheaply made knock-off replica. The fit and finish on this piece is several notches above that of the aftermarket versions, so we prefer using this.
