Diffuser Insert For M Technic Rear Bumper - E36 323ti Euro (Dual Tip Muffler)

This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 51122496320 (51-12-2-496-320) and is described as Genuine BMW Insert M Technic For E36 323ti Euro, or use this on a US-spec 318ti when using a dual-outlet rear exhaust. 

Only for cars with the M Sport / M-Tech / Clubsport rear bumper cover. This insert requires the factory "M" rear bumper cover, the same used on the 318ti Club Sport as well as retrofit on many ti models through the years. 

Do you have a 318ti with a six cylinder swap? If you do, and have the M Tech / M Sport rear bumper, this rear apron / exhaust trim should be on your shopping list -- while BMW still makes it! It has a large exhaust opening for a two tail pipe exhaust exit, ideal for M50, M52, S50, S52, S54 swaps (or any 6 cylinder BMW swap), as well as dual tip conversions for looks. 

This is a Genuine BMW rear apron, an authentic part from the European BMW catalog, as used on M-Tech model 323ti (and any official 6 cylinder E36/5 "ti" hatchback models.) In the USA, the 318ti was offered in model years 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, and 1999, but never as a six cylinder. Fortunately, this is one of those special parts that's ideal for correcting that!
