Pentosin DOT4 brake fluid exceeds the minimum requirements for DOT4 fluid and provides OEM quality for absorbing and retaining water and corrosion resistance.Normal or Low Viscosity?
For the track it's always Normal Viscosity brake fluid. This is because Low Viscosity fluids will be too thin once exposed to typical track temperatures. For regular road and street use, however, you should use whichever fluid came from the factory. For the street if your BMW has "DSC" (Dynamic Stability Control) you should use Low Viscosity (LV) fluid. You have DSC if you have the DSC button on your dash (note: ASC is different and uses Normal Viscosity fluid). If your car does not have DSC use Normal Viscosity fluid.
Pentosin was founded in 1927 in Hamburg, Germany and is currently an OE supplier to BMW, Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, and others. They employ a "zero mistake" philosophy in developing and manufacturing fluids with ISO certifications and are recognized in the OE and aftermarket world as the undisputed leader in critical fluids.
