Pentosin DOT4 brake fluid exceeds the minimum requirements for DOT4 fluid and provides OEM quality for absorbing and retaining water and corrosion resistance.Normal or Low Viscosity?
For the track it's always Normal Viscosity brake fluid. This is because Low viscosity fluids will be too thin once exposed to typical track temperatures. For regular road and street use, however, you should use whichever fluid came from the factory. The cutoff between Normal and Low is not by model year. If your chassis existed before 2004 it uses Normal viscosity (all chassis up to E53). But if the chassis was introduced after 2003 it will use Low viscosity fluid (all new chassis starting with E60). The lone exception is the E53 X5 which could take either: 1999-2003 X5 uses Normal; 2004-2006 X5 uses Low.
