XP10 friction compound is a medium-high-torque output but with more consistency and higher initial bite than the XP8. This pad is an excellent choice for BMWs with smooth modulation and compatbiltiy with ABS and long life. Our most-popular Carbotech compound.

Carbotech pads are relatively easy on rotors, and if you're using your street car for track days, Carbotechs produce a mostly non-corrosive dust for easy wheel and paint cleaning.

XP10 is not recommended as a daily-driven street pad due to possible elevated levels of dust and noise. As a competition pad, there is no slot for the pad sensor and you will have to monitor pad wear visually. The sensor can be removed or tied back out of the way.

328i Install Note: for 328i models the spring clips on the outside pad must be removed. These are small tabs that are easily removed with cutting pliers, tin snips, or a cutoff wheel. Ensure a smooth surface after removal.
