Front Performance Brake Rotor, Zimmermann Coated - F22 M235i/M240i, F30 335i, F32 435i

This Zimmermann slotted & dimpled rotor fits the front of the F22 M235i/M240i and can be used on the F30 335i/340i and F32 435i/440i with standard grey calipers (not blue M Sport calipers).

Zimmermann Z-Coat rotors are the same size as stock BMW rotors but include an anti-corrosion phosphate coating that resists rust. Uncoated aftermarket or OEM rotors will quickly rust on the middle hat and inner vanes. Zimmermann Coated rotors are made in Germany and can be found as original equipment on some Mercedes, Porsche, and Volkswagen models.

M235i Rotor Confusion: the M235i/M240i did not come with the larger 370mm discs like the F30/F32 M Sport. It had the same size disc as standard 335i/435i and a similar caliper (painted Monte Carlo blue instead of unfinished grey). The original M235i/M240i rotors are blank but these dimpled & slotted type were a direct-fit option.

335i/435i Rotor Confusion: BMW had multiple rotor options with similar names. This 340mm disc fits stock, Sport trim, Modern trim, Luxury trim, and the M Sport accessory package (option code (P337A). It does not fit the M Sport brake upgrade with blue calipers which could be added to any trim package (option code S2NHA). 1-piece rotor. This Zimmermann rotor is a single-piece cast iron rotor. The factory BMW rotor is a 2-piece iron disc with an aluminum hub. BMW advertised the lighter weight as a way of lowering emissions and improving fuel economy. There is likely no performance difference between them but the Zimmermann will be slightly heavier compared to stock. We also offer the Original BMW rotors if you wish to keep the lighter two-piece design.
