Brake Vacuum Pump with Gasket, Rein - E82, E9X, E60, F10, E83 X3, F25 X3, E70 X5, E89, N52

This pump creates vacuum for the operation of actuators, brake booster, and exhaust flap (if equipped). If you experience loss of boost it could be this pump but also trace back the vacuum lines from the turbo and valve cover. There's also a sensor on the pump that may have failed. Loss of vacuum can also lead to brake issues.
