Brake Backing Plate - Rear Left - E36, E46, E85 - 34211158991

This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 34211158991 (34 21 1 158 991) and is described as Genuine BMW Protection Plate, Rear Left (driver side on US/LHD cars) for various BMW E36 3 series, E46 3 series, and E85/E86 Z4 models. This stamped steel / sheet metal plate installs to the rear wheel hub to protect the rear brake rotor. These backing plates can get rusted, ripped, bent and mangled and sometimes need to be replaced when doing a rear brake job.
