About OEM 1-Piece Rotors: These OEM-grade zinc-coated rotors are a single-piece cast iron design, which is a great way to reduce your brake rotor replacement cost. The factory BMW rotor is a 2-piece iron disc with an aluminum hub. BMW advertised the lighter weight as a way of lowering emissions and improving fuel economy. There is likely no performance difference between them but the Zimmermann will be slightly heavier compared to stock. We typically source OEM brake rotors from ATE, Balo, Hella, Pagid, Brembo, and Zimmermann. We also offer the Original BMW rotors if you wish to keep the lighter two-piece design.
About OEM Brake Pads: The brake pads in this kit are sourced from OEM suppliers, such as Textar, Jurid, and ATE. In some cases, we may substitute with Genuine BMW brake pads.
