What is in the box?
- (1) Front Brake Pad Set: DFC 5000 Series Street Brake Pads. This brake pad set is designed to minimize brake dust while providing excellent initial “bite” and very quiet operation.
- (2) Front OEM Brake Rotors: One-Piece, Zinc-coated Brake Discs from an original-equipment manufacturer.
- (1) Front Brake Pad Sensor Wire
- (2) Rotor Retaining Screws
About DFC 5000 Series Brake Pads: Designed just for European applications, DFC 5000 Low-Dust Brake Pads are formulated to provide optimal and reliable stopping performance, excellent fade resistance, low dust, and stable friction performance across a wide temperature range.
About OEM Brake Rotors: 1-piece rotor. This Zimmermann rotor is a single-piece cast iron rotor. The factory BMW rotor is a 2-piece iron disc with an aluminum hub. BMW advertised the lighter weight as a way of lowering emissions and improving fuel economy. There is likely no performance difference between them but the Zimmermann will be slightly heavier compared to stock. We also offer the Original BMW rotors if you wish to keep the lighter two-piece design..
