Rear Pagid RST1 Racing Brake Pads (18mm) - F87 M2 Competition, Brembo F40/F50

Pagid RST Red brake pads are formulated for iron discs on F87 M2 Competition (rear), M2 CS Racing (rear), and Brembo F40/F50/B/H/GT1/Monobloc P Caliper calipers. 

Fitment note: Not for Euro-spec M2 Competition. For US-spec M2 Comp only (Euro-spec / Non-US M2 Competition models the same pads as a F80 M3 or F82 M4 unless the car was optioned with S2NH brakes (silver calipers, 6-piston front, 4-piston rear).

Brembo F40/F50/B/H/GT1/Monobloc P Caliper calipers are a 4-piston caliper that formed the basis for most Brembo GT big brake kits found on many sports cars. These were mainly used on the front axle but could be found on some rear applications. They are commonly known as Brembo “F40” calipers.

The RST1 compound is a semi-metallic resin bonded material containing steel fibers. This compound has very high friction levels with a progressive torque as temps rise. Initial bite is very high while modulation will require precision and practice. These characteristics reward an experienced driver who only needs to make short and hard braking inputs such as in rally, stock car, or GT racing with lots of aero.

Front and rear brake compounds should be closely matched to maintain brake balance. Never upgrade one axle and not the other.

As a competition pad, there is no slot for the pad sensor and you will have to monitor pad wear visually. The sensor can be removed or tied back out of the way.
