Brake Wear Sensors are key safety components that allow worry-free driving without the need for constant visual inspection of your brake pad material. An illuminated brake lining dash light is a warning of thin brake pad material. Pads should be replaced as soon as possible, and the sensor is a required replacement once the brake lining dash has come on.

This part replaces BMW part number 34356870354 (34-35-6-870-354) and is described as Febi-Bilstein Rear Brake Pad Wear Sensor Wire for G42 230i, M240i (2022+), G20 330e, 330e xDrive, 330i, 330ix, M340i, M340ix (2019+), G22/G23 430i, 430ix, M440i, M440ix (2021+), and G29 Z4 30i, M40i (2019+).

The brake pad lining sensor (or wear sensor) is a very simple and not complex part. While we offer and can supply the more expensive Genuine BMW sensor for this application, it's often not the best money spent.
