For 2000 and 2001 X5 Models

This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 34516758627 (34 51 6 758 627), which replaces older / former part number 34522285045 (34 52 2 285 045) and is described as Exchange Repair Set for DSC Control Unit for the first generation BMW X5 (which is the E53 chassis) including the 3.0 liter and 4.4 liter models. 

If this control unit fails,  your DSC and ABS systems will not function, and it can leave your X5 undriveable. This factory BMW rebuilt unit is intended to be swapped with your failed DSC hydraulic control unit.
